Ariane Eldar
Pfffffft, Lazy Artist failed to send me new stuff, so I had to dig up that really old-old story how I went to victorian London with the old crew of the earler bad moon comics. Uncle Greedy, Dr. Weisenstein, the Red String and already Ritchie the Rat. This episode was drawn with ballpoint for a change in the beginning and was never finished, shoggoth-poo!
Anyway, please vote for me:

Pffft, I had no idea what that was, so I asked around - it is something from Harrer Potty, rightie-right?

Haha !! Harry P.otty ! That was a good one... Yeah! It's from there. And I only said that. Because it was filmed at a real train subway station in England. And people go there every year to try and see if they can run through the 🧱. But ,I take it you're not a fan of the movies. Are you? For more info you can probably google it . Or you tube it.

I used to call him Hairy Potty, but I've been told that was rude-rude.

While Ariane knows best how to use dimensional gates (and how to insult people) I can add some sources that influenced the gates in the comic. (Metainformation) Obvious are the dimensional gates in the work of H.P. Lovecraft (1910s to 1930s), but also Murray Leinster's "Sidewise in time" (1934), the fantastic cult-movie Orphe (1949), Phillip Jose Farmers "World Of Tiers" (1965 and later), Gordon Dickson's "Time Storm" (1977), plus a lot of other material I don't recall right now, including childhood dreams, but no Potter at all.

Wow that's cool. However I 've never heard of the movies that you previously mentioned. But.....Sometimes you've gotta give a little tude to get through to the rude .

Orphe's a movie, the other ones are novels.

Please forgive me not knowing the movies . Because I don't know about too many films that was made before colored TV. However this may be able to make up for that . I do enjoy a Edgar Allan Poe and Jules Verne story every now and then
